Advisor

Adam is a globally recognized expert in strategy, marketing, branding, and futurist thinking — a singular set of talents and experiences that he brings to his role at The March Group. His role as a Venture Partner at Shine Capital and as an active angel investor also enriches his valuable, front-line perspectives.

In addition to his public company experience, Adam serves on the boards of Scotts Miracle-Gro and 1-800-Flowers. He is active with dozens of start-ups across multiple domains, providing consulting and advisory support to create successful narratives and go-to-market storytelling.

Adam works broadly in domains that include Agtech, Foodtech, Biotech, Fintech, AI, Cybersecurity, IoT, Agetech, Proptech, Enterprise Software, Marketplaces, and Consumer Products.

Early in his career, Adam was a comedy writer, a successful advertising agency entrepreneur, and an award-winning creative director. He is co-author of Dictionary of the Future, which Wired described as “a memetic encyclopedia of what’s to come, an engaging crash course in bleeding-edge ideas and debatable issues.” He is also the co-host of the podcast Jolty and currently a columnist for Inc. Adam is a frequent contributor to public conversations at the intersection of branding, culture, politics, and social change, with writing and commentary appearing in The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Fast Company, NPR, Huffington Post, and AdAge.

Adam was asked by Barack Obama to join a tech advisory task force and served as an unpaid digital advisor to the 2008 campaign. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of New York University.
